What is the Best Dog Bed Size Guide?

The best guide would be the first to know the size of your dog. Now, here is a process using which you can your dog’s size and then determine the type of bed and the size of bed pop would need to sleep and rest. Basically, it depends upon 3 factors-

a. Dog breed.

b. Dog size.

c. Health condition.

  • At first, determine the breed of your dog. Be sure of the breed, or else you might never find the perfect bed.
  • Secondly, measure the size of your dog. This is how you can measure your dog accurately.
  • Take a soft tape and hold it from the nose towards the tail. Stretch it only to the point from where the tail grows. Note the measurement on paper.
  • Using the same tape, measure the inches or cm that cover the front leg of your dog. Hold the tape from the ground and stretch it up the point from where the leg starts.
  • Repeat the same process for the back portion of the dogs as well. But when you go to the backside of your pup, hold the tape from the ground and straight up to the starting point of the tail.

Now, sum up the first 3 measurements and then subtract half the size of the length of the front leg and, then the total number is the size of the bed.
